Specification

The VPA-35018 is a single-chip solution for a USB 2.0 to Serial ATA Storage. It has a standard USB 2.0 port that can interface to a USB host.
It accepts USB protocol through the USB interface from the USB host, abd decodes the commands and converts them to Serial ATA commands to the SATA device.
Response from the device through the Serial ATA bus are deciphered, processed and converted to USB protocol and send to the USB host.

Temperature Control

To provide a quieter working environment, the VPA-35018 is designed with a built-in adjustable temperature control sensor which can be set through jumpers. When the operating temperature set by the jumper is reached, the fan will automatically turn OFF.
